Period 1
English 12AP

Class did not meet today due to a senior assembly.  Please note, however, that summer reading essay revisions AND college essays are due tomorrow.

Period 3
English 12CP

Students handed in their rough drafts of the college essay.  I provided a study guide for the test on the introductory information for Anglo-Saxon literature.  The test is on Friday, 9-21-12.  Also, before starting Beowulf, we went over the definition for epic poetry and its components, such as epic hero, action, setting, and epic conventions.

Period 4
English 12CP

Class dropped today (E-day).  Nevertheless, be sure to complete your college essays as they are due tomorrow. In addition, study for the test on the introductory information for Anglo-Saxon literature.  The test is tomorrow, Thursday 9-20-12!  Below is a list of names and terms to help you prepare.
