Discussion of Othello.  Distributed the list of books suggested for your research paper.  Please note that you may select something other than what is on the list as long as it is a topic of British literature.  (The Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit, Alice in Wonderland, or any books from the Narnia series are excluded.)

Tomorrow, we will begin the college essay writing process with a look at some successful examples.  It is also "picture day", so the class will be shortened a bit.

The test for your third summer reading selection will be on Monday, September 10th.  It is a question and short answer type assessment -- no essay!
