Today, we began reading "The Wife of Bath's Tale."
Be sure to select an outside reading book for quarter 2; you will need to have the book completed by Tuesday, December 6th.
You should also be re-reading your research paper book.  First visit to the library is Monday, 11-21-2011.  At this time, you will be expected to select one critical essay and write an analysis of it.
There will be an in-class essay writing on one of the three Canterbury Tales that we read in class...date to be determined but probably next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Read to page 197 in Unwind.  Discussion about bystanders and responsibility.  Read article about Penn State scandal.  for homework, read all of section 3 in Night (if you have not already done so).
